Call for Visiting Scholars 2022
TRIBOS+ Consortium institutions invite visiting scholars of recognized excellence to carry out research activities, teaching/lecturing, Master thesis support, academic/professional networking, etc. The TRIBOS+ Education Committee chooses the best candidates on the basis of CVs, publications, academic merit, motivation, recommendations, language skills, etc. The TRIBOS+ Consortium institutes decide on the duration of each visit based on student activities, which is communicated to the visiting scholars in advance. Visiting scholars’ applications are open for all nationalities.
- Scholars must be in possession of a Ph.D. degree and demonstrate outstanding academic and/or professional experience.
- Scholars must bring concrete added value to the delivery of the TRIBOS+ programme.
Visiting Scholars within the TRIBOS+ programme must:
- Commit themselves to actively participating in the Master's course activities.
- Spend 4 to 7 consecutive calendar days (=one week) period at one of the TRIBOS+ consortium institutes (the duration of each individual visit will be decided upon by the Consortium annually).
- Carry out teaching, research, student tutoring, and Master thesis support activities.
- Bring concrete added value to the course and students (through the teaching of specific classes, leading and participating in seminars or workshops, monitoring and tutoring student research/project activities, participating in thesis reviews, preparing new teaching modules, etc.).
- Contribute, after their visiting scholar activities, to the promotion and dissemination of the Erasmus Mundus Programme in general, and the TRIBOS+ Master programme in particular.
